Is a self-contained team with logistics for at least 7 days of operation in the full number of 36 members (MUSAR – medium USAR) or team with logistics for at least 10 days of operation in the full number of 68 members (HUSAR – heavy USAR). The team is transported to the place by air or by ground (up to 1,000 km).
MUSAR team is composed of team leader, deputy team leader, two laisons officers, 6 dog handlers, one doctor, two logistics officers, one IT technic, squad leader, two groups of firefighters-rescuers (1+9) and statics. This structure allows two groups of firefighters-rescuers to work continuously at least for 7 days.
The HUSAR team is composed of team leader, 1 deputy team leader, 1 planning/assessment officer, 1 Safety/Security officer, 4 liaison officers, 1 Structural engineer, 1 IT specialist, 4 logistics officers, 2 medical doctors, 2 squad leaders, 4 groups of firefighters-rescuers (1+9) and 10 dog handlers. This structure allows two groups of firefighters-rescuers to work continuously at least for 10 days on two places.
In case of air transport
The team demands of ground transportation from the place of the aircraft landing to the destination – which has to be provided by the affected country. Special containers are prepared for air transport of material on the Subaru terrain vehicle and its trailer. Air transport is could be solved in cooperation with the General Staff of the Czech Army or with Czech commericial air company or air transport could be provided by Contractor of the European Commission.
In case of ground transport
The team is equipped with a logistics container, a drinking water tank, spear parts for vehicles and possibly a fuel tank. Team members might be transported by bus, all necessary equipment is provided by Fire Rescue Services of the designed regions. The team designed for ground transport might be supplemented by officers from other regional FRSs.
Logistics for the FRS CR team: food for a certain number of days, tents, sleeping bags. Permanent reserve of all needed material for team is disposable with the Prague and Moravian-silesian FRS. Safety stock of food for certain days is disposable permanently.
Special means and equipment based on character of rescue operation is provided by the Prague and Moravian-Silesian FRS.
