COOperation 2008
International Exercise of USAR teams – military area Pstraze, Poland
20th – 25th April 2008
Two USAR teams from the Czech Republic – USAR team Praha and USAR team Ostrava took part in international exercise of USAR teams in Poland. The exercise was leaded through the Insarag guidelines and was focused on cooperation between LEMA and OSOCC and the cooperation between intervening teams.
Seven foreign USAR teams were on the place – two teams from CZ, USAR team Slovakia, USAR team Belgium, USAR team B-FAST, USAR team Hungary, USAR team EMERCOM Russia and Sweden field hospital, also 12 polish teams.
The topic of te exercise was the airplane´s downfall on the chemical factory and on the train with transport of chemical material in the urban part of the town Pstraze. Infrastructure of the town was disturb.
USAR teams searched for the missing inhabitants of the town in collapsed buildings cause by the airplane accident. During the exercise the organizers prepared for the trainings teams lot of tasks ans surprises.
Both the czech teams were for this exercise well prepared so the final classification was positive.
