Humanitarian assistance 2009
For the year 2009 the amount of 85 mil. CZK had been allocated.
For the next year 2010 the amount of 73 mil. CZK has been allocated.
Material humanitarian assistance was not provided in 2009 due to large distance of affected countries.

Gaza, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Somalia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Brazil, Uganda, Philippines, Indonesia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, UN-CERF projects (The Central Emergency Response Fund)
OPERATIONAL/RESCUE ASSISTANCE
Moldova – in connection with gas crisis Petr Vodička was send as an expert with coordination team EU - MIC to assess the posibilities of providing humanitarian assistance.
Namibia – Vladimír Vlček was send as an expert with coordination team EU – MIC to monitor activities in area affected by floods to inform EU on urgent needs of affected population.
Tajikistan – Vladimír Vlček took part in mission EU – MIC as a deputy commander. The aim of this mission was to evaluate needs of population of area affected by floods and landslides.
