Albania and Macedonia 2007
At the request of Albania and Macedonia, which were affected by large forest fires, the Czech Republic sent humanitarian assistance in form of 100 helmets for Macedonia and 120 pairs of boots and 120 pairs of gloves for Albania.
This  humanitarian assistance value  was 2 millions CZK – 1 million for each country. The  humanitarian assistance was ensured by the Ministry of Interior – General Directorate of the Fire Rescue Service. 
Members of the Fire Rescue Service of Czech Republic were sent for this special mission, which started on Monday 30 July 2007 carrying a cargo of humanitarian assistance across the countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia (there the helmets were transmitted) to Albania (where they ensured handover of fire equipments to competent persons).
